IonX Academy provides premium tutoring for secondary to post-secondary scholars. We help learners achieve academic success through a combination of direct instruction, personalized learning, and developing effective study skills and routines.

We cultivate learning environments grounded in clarity, personalization, and consistency - designed to support student confidence, academic excellence, and long-term success.At IonX Academy, Academic Mentors tailor learning experiences to each learner's unique strengths and goals. They are educators selected for their strong academic achievement, subject-matter expertise, and their ability to deliver, clear, exceptional instruction, for consistent results.

Tutors

Judy - BSc. Applied Biology: She built IonX Academy to make high-quality, expert tutoring accessible. She believes strong academic guidance should be accessible beyond traditional classrooms, supporting long-term growth.
Veda - BEng. Environmental Engineering: She is a second-year Engineering student at UBC who enjoys helping high school students build strong foundations in math, physics, and chemistry.
Ray - MSc. Mathematics: He spent his undergrad and graduate studies at UBC. He has 3+ yrs of tutoring experience, and finds joy in helping students as he learns along the way. He helps students excel in math, physics, and Python.
Robert: With 3yrs of tutoring experience, and a background in math and statistics, he encourages application of classroom concepts to real-world solutions. He is currently completing foundational coursework and transferring to SFU for Actuarial Science.
Pedram - PhD. Electrical and Computer Engineering, UBC: He has 10 years of experience in STEM. With an engineering background and strong math and coding skills, he tutors Python, data structures, and signal/image processing.
